CBSE results 2009

CBSE has announced its results of class XII for all regions and once again students have done a great job in exams. The central board of secondary education has declared that total 81% students cleared the exams and girls once again dominated. Girls registered a pass percentage of 85.94 where boys were a way behind and registered 77.40 as pass percentage.

A total of 6,37,976 students were registered for this year's exam. This year's pass percentage marks an increase of 0.09 per cent over the pass rate of last year. Chennai region tops the results tally and given 92.06 percent results. A total of 63,644 students have been placed in compartment this year. Government school also have done a great job and provided 82 percent result this year which is remarkable.

Pass percentage of regular students is 82.69 percent and pass percentage of private/patrachar students is 49.72 percent. The students who are not satisfied with their marks can take the facility of verification of marks. The candidates can apply for verification of marks to the respective regional offices within 21 days from the date of declaration of result. Students can download forms for verification of marks at the CBSE site and can submit with verification fees of Rs.100/- per subject. CBSE announced its results in two parts; they announced results of Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions on 20th May and Delhi, Allahabad and Guwahati regions today on 22nd May 2009.
